The Sharks have avoided the potential of another long-running courtroom brawl by resolving a case with a former disgruntled major backer on the eve of it being heard in the Supreme Court.
Just three months after Cronulla reached a settlement with the last of 13 players seven years after the ASADA drugs saga, the Sharks have settled with ex-sponsor One Solutions, which had sued the club for allegedly not delivering on promised benefits.

One Solutions was seeking $120,161.16 in compensation from the Sharks, who won their maiden premiership in 2016.
But the parties have reached an out-of-court settlement, just prior to details of how the partnership came crashing down were expected to be aired in the Supreme Court.
