“He is one of those horses we know is up to that stakes level; he has run a lot of good races in that company, but hasn’t got the win,” Snowden said. “We know the talent is there, it is just getting him to show it.

“If we can get him winning, there are some good opportunities for horses like him, but we haven't looked past Saturday.”

Snowden will head to Brisbane where California Turbo and Icon Of Dubai will complete their Queensland Derby preparation in the Grand Prix after good efforts in the Rough Habit Plate last time out.

“They will both be better suited by the extra trip,” Snowden said. “They probably got a bit far out of their ground last time, but were strong at the line and they will do the same again.”
