In some much-needed royal wedding good news, Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be page boy and bridesmaid at Saturday’s big event.

They are two of ten children chosen for the roles. Others include god-daughters of the bride and groom.

Unlike in the US and Australia, royal wedding attendants in Britain are typically children – young relatives or children of the bride and groom’s inner circle.

And they often provide some of royal wedding’s most memorable moments – little Grace van Cutsem stole the show when she scowled and covered her ears during William and Kate’s kiss on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Grace's little sister Florence will be a bridesmaid on Saturday.
