Shots have been fired at a busy shopping centre after a car crashed into two police cars.
A number of shots were fired at the Gold Coast shopping centre at 4.50pm Tuesday by police.
An off-duty officer reportedly tried to intercept the car at the Coomera Coles car park, Seven News reported.

It is not believed anyone was injured during the incident.
Queensland Police said a car was 'deliberately' driven towards the police cars, damaging the two cars.
Shots were fired at the tyres of the stolen car, 9 News reported.
Two people were taken into custody and are assisting police.
The Ethical Standards Command is investigating the incident.
