POLICE have locked down busy Pitt St in the CBD after a man’s death.
Emergency services were called to Centrepoint Tower in the CBD about 2.45pm.
It’s understood a man died at the scene. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Police have blocked off the area around the tower and remain at the scene.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said there were reports of several witnesses suffering from shock.
