USC editorial design information

This o-nline version of the University Publications Editorial Style Guide includes a few changes and additions, which we show through-out using a mark for easy reference.

Many of these changes address issues specific to Content and are mentioned with a symbol.

We first published the Editorial Style Guide in March 1996 to offer consistency among members of our personal team and among the many offices throughout the University. We also wanted to advise our clients of the guidelines we would use when editing copy presented to the office.

A. Common
