This is the kind of bar you dream of calling your 'local.' Which is weird, because it's in an area known for its tacky bars and overpriced drinks. What did we even do in Circular Quay before this place? Anyway, like all good bars in Sydney, Bulletin Place is hidden behind an unmarked stairwell, and you have to know it's there. There's a lot to love about this bar. Yes, it's the size of shoebox and yes, they only have two open bottles of wine at any time, but who cares? The bar is run by the dude who was recently awarded World Class Bartender of the Year, so forget the wine; you'll definitely want a cocktail. They're out of control.
