Sun Kissed (Bronze) Look Makeup Tutorial or (Jennifer Lopez/Beyoncé/Bipasha Basu Look)
Pearl Acade...Sun Kissed (Bronze) Look Makeup Tutorial or (Jennifer Lopez/Beyoncé/Bipasha Basu Look)
Pearl Academy makeup instructor and professional makeup Artist Ashima Kapur shows how to do this look.
This makeup uses very warm tones and very warm colors like very sunny yellows, golds, oranges and chocolate browns. This look can be achieved not only on dusky skin tone but also on fair skin. If you want to bronze a fair skin then you need to use a foundation which is two shades darker.
Steps and Products Used:
1. MAC Hydrating Spray - Fixed Glass (Don't spray this on the eyes. Cover the eyes with the palm and spray. This will hydrate and refresh the face.
2. Studio Moisture Cream from MAC. This will moisturize the face. Massage the moisturizer into the skin.
3. To achieve a bronze look we are going to use a NC45 MAC foundation which is a studio fix fluid foundation mixed with Inglot bronzer. Use it on the entire face. Make sure you go down to the neck so that the face and neck have the same bronze tone.
4. Use a dark brown powder to powder the face. This step is similar to using a translucent powder to seal the foundation. The brown powder will set the foundation. The brown powder matches the skin tone that we have created.
5. Use a larger brush to apply the brown powder on the neck.
6. Use a concealer for the under eye area. Use a little concealer on the eye lid as well.
7. Make sure you powder the eyelid or the eyeshadow will start to crease.
8. Now we will use eyeshadow called amber light by MAC
9. Use MAC Pigment called Melin under the eye brows as highlighter.
10. Take a dark brown color to contour the eyes a little from the inside and a little from the outside.
11. Now blend everything into the socket line and onto the outside contour area.
12. Take a little bit of gold eyeshadow and put it at the centre of the upper eyelid. This will bring out the lid and also create a lovely gold effect on the lid. It also brings out the eyes.
13. Load the eyeliner onto the brush and sweep it across the upper eyelid.
14. Next fix a pair of false eye lashes.
15. Redo the eyeliner onto the lashes so that the glue does not show
16. Use a kohl pencil on the inner rim and smoke it with a black eye shadow.
17. Make sure that you join the some in the previous step with the extended eyeliner.
18. With a wet brush take little bit of gold pigment and place it on the inner corner of the eyes to open them up.
19. Mascara the lashes together.
20. Take a dark brown eyeshadow and fill in the eyebrows.
21. Use a transparent mascara to seal the brows in place.
22. Contour the cheeks & jawline with a dark brown blush.
23. Next contour the nose.
24. In case the lips are dark you can apply a little foundation on them before applying lipshades.
25. Use a lip liner pencil to shape the mouth.
26. For this makeup we are going to use a beige lipstick
27. Finish lip makeup by adding Elizabeth Arden lip gloss. Remember NOT to smack your lips after applying lip gloss.
28. To finish the look use a bronzer on the cheek bone. This will give a dewy finish.
29. You can also use a bronzing powder to get a high shine.
30. You can also use the bronzer on the highlight areas which is the bridge of the nose, centre of the forehead, tip of the chin, and the collar bones.
Now you have your bronze look also called the sun kissed look and tanned look. This is the kind of look Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, and Bipasha Basu sport.
