Watch as Better Homes and Gardens shows you this frozen yogurt icebox cake recipe with hidden stars! These cleverly hidden stars present themselves once you cut into these delicious, simple yogurt cakes. In a silicon, star-shaped mold, allow the vanilla yogurt to freeze and harden. Spoon a fairly thin layer, about 1-1/2 inches high, of the same frozen yogurt, dyed red, into the bottom of a Saran-Wrapped icebox cake pan. Nestle the stars one behind the other, pushing them down into the red yogurt as you go along. Once the stars are neatly placed into the pan, spoon room-temperature, blue vanilla yogurt over the top of them. You'll want the blue yogurt to be a very smooth consistency so it gets into all the crevices within the frozen cake dish. Smooth out the top into a nice even layer before freezing the entire dish. Once you begin cutting the frozen cake, your guests will get a surprise when patriotic stars are revealed in the center! Easy cake recipes like this one are perfect for a summer picnic.
