In 2011, children and families in the Horn of Africa faced one of the worst droughts in recent history. ChildFund Australia raised close to $1 million from the Australian public and over $400,000 in matched funding from the Australian Government's Dollar for Dollar initiative. ChildFund's response in Kenya and Ethiopia targeted children under five - who are most vulnerable in an emergency situation - and pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. This short clip was taken in the Siraro district of Ethiopia, where ChildFund continues to support the most vulnerable families with supplementary food.
