We are back again with another wonderful bridal makeup from pro makeover artist Meenakshi Dutt. This makeup was done for would be bride's engagement ceremony. For the ceremony the bride was wearing one piece gown which is not a very traditional outfit for Indian marriage ceremonies. This wedding makeup is modern with a touch of traditional Indian look.

Meenakshi Dutt starts with the initial steps of applying concealer, foundation etc. After applying powder she moves on to contouring. For eye makeup a gold-cream eyeshadow is used on half the eyelid. A slightly shimmery highlighter is used under the brows. Eyebrows are filled and a little hint of red applied to the outer part of eyelid. Note how the red is made very subtle because we do not want the engagement makeup to look like a wedding makeup. Glitter and smokey brown is added to reduce the redness and add more dimension to the makeup.

Very fine soft glitter is applied to the middle eyelid. Smokey brown shade is applied to the lower eye lid. Kohl is applied. Kohl accentuates eye very beautifully and in all the Indian wedding makeup kohl is used. Kohl makes big black Indian eyes look even prettier. Soft simple liner is applied on the upper lid. It is not very think because the makeup is for engagement. Soft coat of mascara is applied.

For lip makeup soft nude colored lip liner is used to line the lips. Lips are filled in with liquid lipstick. A little peach color always enhances complexion and gives a very "doll" kind of look. The makeup is finished by using high definition gloss.

The look is very soft and glamourous. Keep in mind when one has to mix with people at a function the makeup should be very soft and subtle so that is is not jarring to the eyes.
