After a blissful 10 days in Koh Chang we ventured to Bangkok to spend a coupe of days looking around before heading to Berlin.

What a change to Koh Chang with all the nature and fresh foods! BAM! it was straight in to the middle of chaos, smoke and fast greasy food, though thankfully we could still find young coconuts which we had delivered via room service, wish all hotels did that

Personally I wouldn't be stocking my closet with 5 bags from Bangkok as the majority are seemingly mass produced and not exactly eco friendly, but hey I love my Bangkok bag and I LOVE the fact that no animals had to die so I can carry my belongings around with me.
I grew up loving leather so much, I enjoyed the smell and feel of my leather bags, they felt so soft and luxurious, however once I started to cut meat out of my diet, it began to dawn on me that while I was choosing to not eat meat, I was still contributing the killing on animals by purchasing their skin, so I have gradually let go of my love of leather, it has been a slow process as its much easier to let go of meat as its blatantly obvious that its flesh, however with shoes and wallets and bags, it can sometimes totally slip your mind that it was once an animal, it takes a while to have that 'uh huh' moment and shift in consciousness.
If you are really loving leather bags and shoes, Id love if you would start to look around at the leather alternatives, I know some can seem quite tacky, however once you start doing a bit of research you can find some AMAZING stores that sell top quality vegan shoes and accessories that are made from environmentally friendly materials.
