A JEALOUS man flew into a fit of rage when he discovered his ex-wife had replaced him with a machine and could not stand her cheating on him.
Triston Horne, 36, who has an extensive history of domestic violence, was arrested and charged after breaking his former wife’s sex toy, Local 10 reported.
Police from Manatee County Sheriff’s Office in Bradenton, Florida, accused Horne of domestic battery after the incident at his ex-wife’s home in the city of Bradenton.
The victim told police that their marriage had to be nullified shortly afterwards as Horne was still officially married to another woman. However, while they split, the woman’s children still saw Horne as a father figure.
He was invited to spend the night at her house to take her to work in the morning.
They were smoking cigarettes in her bedroom when an argument escalated into a fight, Manatee County Sheriff’s office stated.
The woman escaped to the bedroom but Horne allegedly burst in and accused of cheating on him with a sex toy.
He held her hand and twisted it despite her repeated pleas for him to let go, the woman told police. Horne eventually did and went back into the bedroom and returned to her with his evidence. He then broke the sex toy in half.
Horne was told to leave the home and was pushed out of the property by the woman and her 16-year-old daughter.
Horne however returned, broke into the house and stole his ex-wife’s mobile phone — he told police that he stole the phone as she had broken his in the fight.
Dave Bristow, public information officer for the sheriff’s office, told New York Daily News that he did not know what type of sex toy Horne broke.
Horne was booked in Manatee County Jail on Sunday on a charge of domestic battery and released the following day after he posted $1500 bail, online jail records state.
The suspect had been previously arrested for battery five times since 2007.
