IT HAS a glass bottomed pool as its roof and that’s not the only amazing thing about this home designed to appear as if it is dangling off the side of a cliff.
The concept house known as Casa Brutale was designed by OPA (Open Platform for Architecture) architects to be built on a cliff face in Greece overlooking the Aegean Sea.

It was designed by architects Laertis Antonios Ando Vassiliou and Pantelis Kampouropoulos.
Mr Vassiliou said it was still just a concept but they were in search of a serious investor or potential client for the house.
“Currently, we are working on the engineering and construction aspects of the project and seeking expertise from international engineering companies,’’ he said.
Mr Vassiliou said the design was inspired by the Aegean Sea but it was a generic design that could fit anywhere in the world.
“The critical points are the type and quality of the ground required for its construction, and a landscape similar to the envisioned one.’’
He said while there had been strong international interest in the concept and inquiries about purchasing the blueprints, nothing had been finalised yet.
The architects said the design was created to respect the surrounding environment.
It would be made from wood, glass and concrete with the roof, a glazed bottom swimming pool.
The pool would be made from reinforced glass and would allow natural light to filter through into the living spaces.
