Australian online eco-fashion retailer, James&Co, has established an advisory board comprising of non executive directors Diane Shelton, Diane Landau, and Sebastian Robertson.
Specialising in faux leather fashion and accessories, the company’s board configuration signifies the expansion of its operational framework and growth in the global marketplace.
Shelton, who has also been appointed chair of the board, has held executive positions with retail companies including Bluesky Media Corp, NBN Co, Kidspot, and Coles; Landau is currently the CEO of Global Resources, and serves as a senior advisor to Fortune 500 technology firms; and Robertson was the founding CEO of social enterprise, Bartyr.
Anne Hurley, CEO, James & Co said the expertise that each board member brings will be essential in meeting all James & Co goals, especially its sustainable and ethical standards.
“In common with the B Corp agenda we aim to demonstrate that business can be used as a force for good and we aim to do this through cementing our position as a company that offers products that are sustainable, animal free, and donates a percentage of its revenues to community benefit,â€Â Hurley said.
James & Co recently launched in the UK and the US markets under new local web domains (http://jamesandco.boutique/)Â to increase local relevance and create an offering tailored to domestic shoppers.
The board appointments are effective immediately.
