JUST call him a head case.
Shia LaBeouf suffered injuries to his head and a hand during a stunt on the set of his new movie in North Dakota, his rep confirmed.
He “sustained minimal injuries [Tuesday] night on the set of his current film American Honey,†his rep told Page Six.
“As protocol, production sought out medical attention and Shia received stitches on his hand and for a laceration on his head.â€
According to TMZ, which first reported the injury, LaBeouf, 29, received 20 stitches and 13 staples to his head and finger after filming a scene that required the actor to put his head through a glass window.
Sources told the site that something with the stunt went wrong, sending him off to a nearby hospital. After getting bandaged up, LaBeouf was sent home and is slated to film again on Thursday.
Back in 2008, LaBeouf was injured by a prop on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, suffering a cut below his eyebrow. He was stitched up on set and immediately went back to work. In 2014, while on the set of his movie Fury, co-star Logan Lerman told British GQ that LaBeouf cut up his own face with a knife so that his battle wounds looked real.
