According to CoreLogic RP Data figures auction volumes will hit their highest level this week since the end of March.

There are 2591 properties scheduled to go under the hammer.

Melbourne has the highest number with 1149 properties scheduled for auction. Last week was the highest clearance rate the city has had this year with 82.1 per cent of properties selling under the hammer.

Sydney has 1087 properties scheduled for auction this weekend - the fifth week this year it has had more than 1000 auctions.

In Brisbane 137 auctions are scheduled this week, slightly down on last week’s 159 properties.

Adelaide is expecting 88 auctions, Canberra 54 and Perth, 19.

On the Gold Coast a home at 11 Ilkinia Ave, Broadbeach Waters is scheduled for auction on Sunday at 10am.

The four-bedroom home is being marketed through Lucy Cole Prestige Properties.

The two-level home is in the heart of the Florida Gardens enclave. It has a timber pivot front door.

There are four living spaces on the ground floor, while the top floor houses three of the bedrooms and two of the home’s three bathrooms.

In New South Wales a whole block of units at 55 Collingwood St, Manly which are only 100 metres from the beach will be auctioned on Saturday at 11.30am.

The property which is being marketed through Lanchester Wildash Estate Agents Manly has four units, each with two bedrooms and no common walls.

Known as Hemingford, the building has a price guide in the mid $3 millions.

In South Australia a home at 8 Broad St, Marden is scheduled for auction on Saturday at 11am. The 1915s home is being marketed through Toop & Toop Real Estate. It has a 4.5KW solar system, and has been extended and renovated.

The four-bedroom home has ornate ceilings and fireplaces.
