Rapping his songs All Day and Black Skinhead among a blaze of pyrotechnics, Kanye was at times barely visible on the live telecast, with the stage awash with smoke and flames.

Coupled with a large proportion of his lyrics being bleeped out to broadcast complete silence, it was a fiery performance that left people thinking “yeh, I guess you had to be there”.

The flames were so intense that at one point, it looked like Kanye was on fire.

The rapper closed the awards ceremony, with his fans angry half his performance was censored but his critics saying it was the best Kanye performance they had seen because they couldn’t hear him at all.
