But apparently not.

While promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron, Chris Evans revealed he can’t wait until 2016’s Captain America: Civil War — because the superhero finally gets to be “in a relationship with a woman”.

“It’s funny when you think about it — he’s probably a virgin,” the 33-year-old joked at an Entertainment Weekly Q&A.

“He’s probably a virgin! I don’t know when it would’ve happened.

“Maybe one of those [dancing] girls blew his mind. He’s probably just a good guy.”

After seeing Chris in character wearing a spandex bodysuit, tight muscle tee, and even just shirtless, we the possibilities of Captain America still having his v-plates are highly unlikely.

He said the character probably had eyes on someone in particular.

“He was probably holding out for Peggy Carter [Hayley Atwell] and he’s a little more old-fashioned in that sense,” he said.

“He’s a very human guy ... That’s why I like him.”
