Fashion designer Collette Dinnigan has put her Paddington home on the market.
The four-bedroom sandstone home, in Paddington St, one of fashionable inner-city suburb’s best streets is expected to sell for around $6 million when it goes to auction on May 23.
The sale comes after the designer and her husband Bradley Cocks spent about $7 million for a home in Watsons Bay last month.
The Paddington home, listed with Ben Collier of McGrath Edgecliff and William Manning of Ballard Property, certainly has the designer touch.
Set back from the street on a deep block the house, which the couple share with children Estella 10 and Hunter, 3, sits within a lush garden.
Inside there are high ceilings, exposed sandstone walls and open fireplaces.
A large living and dining area features a vaulted skylit ceiling and overlooks the courtyard garden with heated pool.
Bath lovers are well served with the bathroom of the master suite featuring an impressive freestanding imported marble bath.
The property is one of two that the designer has owned in Paddington.
She sold an Underwood St property, comprising two terraces for $7.3 million in 2011.
She bought the Paddington St home for $4.45 million in 2009.
Last year she sold her Palm Beach holiday home for $3.2 million.
The businesswoman closed her main fashion business in 2013 but is working on a clothing line for international retailer Anthropologie along with a lingerie line in Australia.
She also retains a commercial property in Surry Hills and holiday home in the south coast town of Milton.
