According to CoreLogic RP Data, the young bookmaker, who is CEO of William Hill Australia, is listed as the owner of 4 Wyargine St, Mosman, which sold for $2 million above its $11 million asking price on October 30 last year after just 17 days on the market.
MEDICH MANSION SELLS AFTER ALMOST 6 YEARS ON MARKET
The highest sale in Mosman for 2014 was 9 Curraghbeena Rd, which sold for $16.3 million, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
One of only five with direct beach frontage, the four-bedroom Balmoral house has spectacular views of out through the heads and all the way down the beach.
Set on approximately 918sq m of elevated land and designed by architect Ian Reeler, the property maximises its enviable outlook with floor to ceiling windows that line the formal open-plan living and dining areas, which flow out to a vast wooden deck that wraps around the southern side of the home.
Inside is a spacious granite kitchen, a casual dining room and a master bedroom with an ensuite, dressing room and built-in wardrobe. Two additional bedrooms also have an ensuite bathroom.
It attracted a high level of interest, said Mr Patrick, despite the fact that the price guide exceeded the median house price in Mosman by $8.5 million.
“(It’s a) very unique beachfront property, it’ll only come up every 30 years or so,†said Mr Patrick.
“It’s all about the lifestyle really — out the back gate, onto your surf ski and out onto the water.â€
The property last sold in 1983 for $550,000, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
