KEVIN Rudd is taking longer to zip out of Brisbane than first planned, with the former Prime Minister dropping the asking price for his Norman Park home.
The property is now listed for $1.19 million after originally being listed for tender in November last year through Tim Altass Real Estate.
Mr Rudd and his wife Therese Rein then put a price of $1.25 million on the home but it did not sell despite attracting interest from high-end buyers.
They first purchased the property in 1994 for $384,000.
The pair also sold a block of land nearby on Wendell St for $1.751 million last year after buying it in 2011 for $1.4 million.
But Mr Rudd won’t be leaving Queensland behind just yet. The couple plan on spending more time in their multi-million dollar home at Castaway Beach in Noosa.
