AMERICA’S newest theme park is set to open to thrill seekers and kids as young as 13, allowing them to fire real guns with live ammunition.
Machine Gun America in Orlando has a variety of hi-tech simulators and themed packages visitors can buy.
Visitors can shoot like a cowboy from the Wild West, or a gangster in the 1930s and 40s.
The Walking Dread package, inspired by The Walking Dead TV show lets people gun down zombie targets.

Other packages offer the chance to shoot like 007 agent James Bond or the chance to act like a soldier and shoot military-grade firearms.
The weapons include, but are not limited to, Uzis, Tommy Guns, AK47s and M5s.
While children from age 13 to 17 can enter the park with an adult, Machine Gun America’s General Manager Bruce Nierenberg said that no one is ever alone in a live action area.
Mr Nierenberg told 10 News in America that the new theme park would be on most people’s bucket list of things to experience.
“Everybody has something they always wanted to try,†he said.
“This would be on people’s bucket list to try it and have a new experience.
“It’s romanticising our freedom and our history, I mean, it’s part of American life. That’s how we gained our freedom.â€
On the theme park’s Facebook page, it states that “safety is our first priorityâ€.
It also states:
“No guest is ever alone in the live action area. An MGA Range Safety Officer always accompanies each and every guest.
“There is a double-locking system to the live action ranges.
“All guests are escorted by an MGA Range Safety Officer when entering the live action area, and must pass two locked doors that cannot be accessed simultaneously.
“This double vestibule system also keeps the air handling system pressurised and creates an additional layer of sound barrier.â€
“All guests in live action experiences are outfitted with ear and eye protection.
“Range Safety Officers have final discretion over who may enter and participate the live action area.â€
He also stressed the theme park was not like other shooting ranges across the US where people can bring their own firearms. He said the park is a controlled environment.
The park has faced criticism from parents and anti-gun campaigners who claim it is dangerous.
Social media users on Twitter have also expressed their concerns.
Orlando is well known for its family-friendly theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios.
Both are major tourist attractions for millions of tourists every year.
Machine Gun America is set to open on December 20.
