IN 2013 people were most interested in twerking and Miley Cyrus. In 2014, Americans got serious.

The “How to ...” and “What is ...” questions with the highest growth in search traffic compared to last year, revolved around illnesses, international conflicts, technological issues and companies, according to Google’s Year In Search report.
