The woman, who was then 15, told police she had been crying after kissing a boy behind her boyfriend’s back.

She said Daw, then 16, asked her to leave the Altona Meadows party and go for a walk along the creek.

But once they were alone he attacked, she said.

The Sudanese-born Daw, now 23, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to three counts of rape over the 2007 incident, and was ordered to stand trial.

He was bailed to face the County Court on Wednesday, and will likely be tried next September.

The woman told police Daw repeatedly raped her, telling her, “It’s going to be OK’’.

The girl, who was a virgin at the time, said she begged him to get off her.

“I kept on saying, ‘No, please don’t’ and I think I said at one point, ‘I think I want my mum’,’’ she told police, according to court documents.

She said Daw put his hand over her mouth to stop her from screaming. “I then struck Majak with an open right hand striking him in the face.’’

She said Daw pinned her to the ground.

“I was also kicking out with both legs to see if that would get him off me, but I couldn’t move,’’ she told police.

The court heard Daw stopped when the victim’s best friend came upon them.

“I remember waking up in the morning and saying to (my friend) that I had a bad dream,’’ she told police.

Daw apologised at school the next week and she never spoke to him again, she said.

She spoke to police three months later when the school learned of the allegations, but would not pursue charges.

When she spoke to police again in May this year, she said, “For a long time I blamed myself for what happened as I shouldn’t have walked away with someone that I really didn’t know, and my parents always told me that”.
