LIKE a scene from Entourage, singer Jeremih has been charged after allegedly trying to sneak onto a plane at a New Jersey airport.
The Birthday Sex singer, 27, missed the final boarding call for his flight at Newark Liberty International Airport and his bouncer reportedly tried to open the door to let him in, according to the New York Daily News.
But other reports have suggested Jeremih was actually the one on the plane and tried to let his posse in, TMZ said.
Majority of reports said that Jeremih — whose real name is Jeremy Felton — and another muso, Adam Woods, 27, had made it through the security checkpoint ahead of the 1.45pm US Airways flight to Phoenix on Friday, authorities told New York Daily News.
The flight was already closed for takeoff and it’s claimed the Don’t Tell Em singer’s bouncer Dontate Cunningham, 26, tried to open the back door to let them onto the plane.
The three men were arrested and held in police custody, with Jeremih and Woods charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of the administration of the law, Rolling Stone said, while Jeremih’s bouncer was charged with the additional offence of defiant trespass, New York Daily News reported.
Jeremih was scheduled to perform at a radio station event in California alongside rappers Wiz Khalifa and T-Pain but missed it because he was held in custody by the Port Authority.
