Wahlberg revealed on Late Night with Seth Meyers, he kept the 33-centimetre fake penis he flashed as porn star Dirk Diggler in the 1997 movie, Boogie Nights.

The actor was determined to keep the prosthetic appendage as a lasting reminder of his time on the set.

The 43-year-old revealed it was actually the only prop he has kept from a movie, stating ‘I didn’t think there would be that much interest in it but maybe I can at some point sell it at auction for charity.’

He recalls turning up to a special effects warehouse where he had to stand naked while they sculpted the prosthetic around existing body parts. The process “was very uncomfortable, very awkward”, the star said.

Wahlberg reveals, “I used to keep it in my desk drawer. And I’d take it out and slap my friends in the face with it. I don’t keep many things from my movies, but that just seemed to have personal significance.”
