In 2014, there are any number of ways a celeb can make a real boob of themselves online — a Twitter rant, a grandad-undies selfie, a botched single campaign — but this has to be one of the more unusual.

Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Vicki Gunvalson shared a picture with her 167k Instagram followers this week. The pic showed a black box containing a pair of expensive headphones, and in the accompanying caption Vicki thanked her network, Bravo, for the early Christmas present.

Only problem? Vicki’s reflection was clearly visible in the surface of the super-shiny package — and it revealed that she was without clothing.

It appears Gunvalson wasn’t adding her voice (and chest) to the #freethenipple campaign, though — the reality star promptly deleted the pic, insisting she hadn’t noticed that her own breasts took up much of the frame.

“I’m a human being and we make mistakes,” she said in a Facebook post today.

“I wanted to shout out to Bravo for my Beats while blow drying my hair and getting ready for work, I clearly couldn’t see the reflection when I posted the image on Instagram. I apologise to anyone that saw the picture and am deeply embarrassed.”

Moral of the story: Don’t photograph reflective surfaces in the nude. It could come back to bite you in the butt — or chest.
