A Queensland court will soon hear more evidence from witnesses on the second and final day of a hearing for two police officers accused of raping a woman while on duty.
The two men, aged in their late 20s, face five rape charges and one count each of assault with intent to commit rape and deprivation of liberty in relation to an alleged incident in Mackay in February.
Their committal hearing in the Mackay Magistrates Court began on Thursday and is expected to finish on Friday.
Six witnesses, including the alleged victim, were due to give evidence.
Magistrate Ron Muirhead has ordered the hearing be closed to journalists and the members of the public to ensure the men receive a fair trial.
The outcome of the hearing is expected to be made public on Friday afternoon.
The two men, who can't be named for legal reasons, were suspended from the force after charges were laid and one of the men has since quit.
