LOVE was in the air, romance was lost and new life was brought into the celebrity world this year, with a whole host of star hook-ups, breakups and births.
Plus, from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s lavish wedding in Florence to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s intimate nuptials in France, there was a long line of stars waiting to tie the knot.
There was also a number of new couplings, from Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, to Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, and just as many bust-ups, or ‘conscious uncouplings’ — a phrase than entered the vernacular after the split of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.
