“I’M NOT saying he’s a whore, but he’s a whore.â€
Oh dear. Things are bound to be a little awkward between Kevin Hart and some Sony executives after they called the comedian some not so nice names in emails leaked to the public.
The executives were upset that Kevin Hart’s manager wanted more money for the star to promote his latest Sony film on his social media accounts.
“They (Hart’s management) feel that if we’re going to expect and take advantage of Kevin’s social media savvy that ‘they’ feel there is a price to be paid for it which is above and beyond the $3 million he was paid to do the film,†said studio executive Clint Culpepper in an email to colleagues.
“Jeremy was very clear that Kevin would do the normal publicity asked of him like junket, TV shows, radio interviews, etc. However the social media blitzkrieg would cost us.â€
The executive suggested to his colleagues that they don’t buckle to Hart’s manager’s request.
“I’m tempted to suggest we call his bluff,†he wrote.
“If his film does not perform it hurts his brand ... I’m not saying he’s a whore, but he’s a whore.â€
Hart, who will next appear in Top Five which will hits Aussie cinemas next year on January 29, has more than 14 million Twitter followers.
