AN American supermarket has had to pull a wrapping paper design from its shelves after receiving complaints that it features a swastika in its design.
Cheryl Shapiro was shopping in the Hannukah section of the Walgreens in Northride when she spotted the offensive geometric pattern, NBC reported.
Walgreens spokesman Phil Caruso told NBC4 that the company is in the process of removing the product from stores.
However, Mr Caruso refused to comment on the design.
The swastika is stigmatised as it was adopted as a symbol by the Nazi Party.
