A LAND search and rescue operation is underway in Landsdale for a missing two-and-a-half-year-old boy.

The missing boy, named Sam, was last seen in the vicinity of Walbrook Mews in Landsdale just after 10.30am

He is described as fair skinned and has blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, shorts with a grey stripe.

A large number of police resources have been deployed to help with the search, including mounted section officers and police air wing.
