What fragrance do you wear?
Right now, soap. I’m like, “Okay, did I take a shower? Did I brush my teeth?“

Any go-to jewellery?
A Foundrae necklace with Isaac’s initials.

Can you remember a favourite outfit you wore as a child?
A sailor outfit when I was five. It was a little blue-and-white set with a skort and a little hat. I wore it all the time.

And your worst fashion mistake?
Anything I couldn’t breathe in. Always leave yourself a little wriggle room.

What was your first fashion moment?
You know how kids get rewarded with money or food? When my sisters and I made good grades, our mom would take us to the mall. We could shop wherever we wanted and buy a certain amount of money’s worth of clothes. I would make good grades just to get the mall with my mom. It wasn’t always the easiest, because not everyone had my size, but it was one of my favourite things to do with her.

Is there something you would never wear?
White leggings.

What’s at the top of your fashion wishlist?
Mint-green Prada kitten heels. I cannot find them anywhere in America; they’re going to have to custom-make them for me.

Is there a current fashion trend you particularly like?
A loose, baggy pant with an oversized crop top and a sneaker. That’s so fun.

What shoes do you wear most often?
Sneakers: I have a tonne of high-top Nike Air Jordans.

Do you have a style muse?
Whenever I think of who I want to look like, I go through a mix of women: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lori Harvey, Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber and Teyana Taylor.

What do you wear on a typical working day?
You’ll either catch me lying around working on my computer in sweats or I’ll be running around doing errands in jeans, a button-down and lots of layers – sweatshirts, trench coats.

What’s your favourite off-duty, casual Sunday look?
Definitely a pair of big granny panties and a cosy oversized sweatshirt.

Ashley is an ambassador for size-inclusive label Commonry.
