The NSW State Emergency Service has issued an evacuation order for people in low-lying properties in Port Macquarie to get out of the “high danger area” by 8pm on Friday. “Once floodwater passes 1.75 on the Settlement Point gauge at Port Macquarie, a significant number of properties will be inundated,” the SES said.
