Europe’s vaccine regulators have ruled the AstraZeneca jab is safe to use finding there is no direct link between it and blood clots. Italy, Germany and Denmark were among more than a dozen mostly European countries which temporarily suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine over clotting concerns. The European Medicines Agency detailed results of its investigation saying the vaccine is safe and effective. The EMA says it will continue to study the possibility of blood clot links. More than 17 million people have received the jab in Europe and the UK and fewer than 40 cases of blood clots have been reported.
