Quite fittingly after a second half which can only be described as sloppy, Darius Boyd slips over on the last play and surrenders in a tackle. One try each after the break, but the Eels coast home 26-12.

Somehow I don't think Brad Arthur will be content with that performance, or nor will it win them too many admirers in the premiership race. They're a step closer to the top four, but I don't think they're a step closer to the title.

But at least they're back in the winner's circle, largely thanks to that blitz at the back end of the first stanza.
