A severe weather warning has been issued for the NSW South Coast and eastern parts of the Snowy Mountains and Southern Tablelands on Saturday, with concern about possible minor riverine flooding along the Shoalhaven River and St Georges Basin and moderate flooding along the Moruya and Bega rivers.
Damaging winds may also affect the South Coast on Saturday.
Areas of the South Coast were asked to evacuate two weeks ago, after some parts of the region recorded more than 300 millimetres of rain in a weekend.
As for coastal erosion, there is currently no hazardous surf warning in place for the NSW coast, although Ms Woodhouse said it is possible one will be issued this weekend as more information comes to light.
"It's going to depend on how that low [pressure system] forms and how deep it gets," she said.
