Fremantle have emerged as a likely destination for James Aish who appears poised to be squeezed out of Collingwood.

As revealed by The Age on Sunday night, Aish was put up as a trade option by Collingwood, who are looking to clear salary cap space.

The Dockers are keen to lure Aish west, having lost wingman Ed Langdon and with Bradley Hill potentially on his way out. There would still need to be a trade worked out.

Aish, who turns 24 next month, has a strong relationship with new Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir, who was previously Aish’s line coach at Collingwood.
