Four months after the Christchurch mosque massacre, the city's Muslim community is working to heal, with one of its members starting a foundation to support youth affected by the attacks. Abdigani Ali has started the Canterbury Resilience Foundation, which promotes 'inclusion, safety and community harmony' and is facilitating the 'exchange of information and ideas' about any issues that young people may be facing after the traumatic event. Mr Ali miraculously escaped the March 15 terror attacks after he slept through his alarm, but is now working to organising programs that encourage the health and wellbeing of the community's young people. Fellow worshipper and survivor of the attacks on the Al Noor Mosque, Osman Ahmed, has come out in support of the foundation, saying traumatised youth need a reason to be hopeful. Image: Getty
