There are renewed calls to address the country's growing homeless crisis as research released by the Salvation Army found the issue is much worse than it was a decade ago. It found 75-per-cent of Australians would be willing to pay more tax if it meant those doing it tough could find somewhere to sleep. The charity organisation warned these statistics should be a wakeup call to the government, that something must be done. Sky News spoke Major Brendan Nottle from the Salvation Army about this issue.
