The corporate regulator has revealed it's currently running 66 investigations and court cases that involve the nation's big four banks, as well as Macquarie and AMP. ASIC is working through revelations which surfaced during the Banking Royal Commission and expects to open further inquiries. The Australian reports ASIC also plans to hold public hearings as early as next month and will question bankers over whether they're meeting responsible lending standards.
