FULL INTERVIEW: Former White House advisor and Republican strategist Oliver McGee says Donald Trump has a good chance in the 2020 election because we are in the ‘digitalisation of presidential politics’. Mr McGee says throughout his campaign he is putting on a message of ‘Dexit’, Democrat exit, asking his supporters ‘if they are in or out’. ‘What we see in the middle is that people don’t want socialism and the extreme things that the democratic people are saying’, he says. Trump officially kicked off his re-election campaign this week with a rally in Florida where he took aim at his critics and Democrat rivals accusing them of ‘un-American conduct’.
