Dannii Minogue‘s stylish Hawthorn East pad where she lived for nearly a decade has hit the right note with a buyer.
The entertainer’s four-bedroom house at 466 Tooronga Rd sold for $2.56 million after passing in at auction.
The only bidder, who plans to move into the lavish home with her family, negotiated privately to seal the deal.

Minogue sold the glitzy property, which she bought before the birth of her son Ethan, below her $2.6 million price hopes.
The singer-songwriter lived there with Ethan’s father, English model and ex-professional rugby league player Kris Smith, until their split in 2012.
Jellis Craig Hawthorn auctioneer Peter Batrouney said the fashion designer continued to live at the house until recently. Ronald Minogue, father of Dannii, famous sister Kylie and their brother Brendan, attended the auction and signed the contracts on her behalf.
CoreLogic shows Minogue paid $2.05 million for the property midway through her pregnancy in March 2010.
It also shows the couple spent $130,000 on an extension to the property in April 2011.
Smith announced on Friday he was expecting his second child with partner, exercise guru Sarah Boulazeris, after last year welcoming their first child, Mila.
Minogue, who is reportedly in a long-term relationship with music producer Adrian Newman, is moving out of the Hawthorn East pocket she had come to love.
“She’s a person like anybody else. She’s brought up her son here, walked her son to school, enjoyed friendships with neighbours and she’s not a recluse in any way,” Mr Batrouney said.
“She’s certainly a community-minded person involved in the area.”
Jellis Craig Hawthorn director Campbell Ward said Minogue had recently listed the property for rent with a weekly price tag of $1900 but changed her mind and decided to sell.
“It is very private and it is surprisingly spacious,” Mr Ward said.
“It has a really good entertainment area out the back and is in a really good location with lots of schools around.”
The singer-songwriter made interior style changes to the house that added a sense of luxury.
The ground floor includes an open-plan living room and kitchen, study with pink walls and glamorous formal living and dining room.
Four bedrooms including the main with ensuite and expansive walk-in wardrobe are upstairs.
An outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and spa are part of the tropical outdoor entertainment area. There is also a studio at the rear of the property.
Minogue grow up around the corner in Canterbury, attending Camberwell High with her famous sister Kylie, who now lives in London.
