Jeremy Corbyn has been warned more Labour MPs will resign unless he fixes the antisemitism problem within the party. Labour chairman Ian Lavery faced an angry backlash at a 'heated' meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party (PLP) on Monday, after seven MPs quit in protest against Mr Corbyn's leadership. The Australian's Greg Sheridan has told Sky News the resignations were 'a powerful development' and a dramatic rebuke for Jeremy Corbyn. Mr Sheridan added it was a 'terrible commentary' on British politics that Mr Corbyn could be the alternative UK Prime Minister.
