Apart from the absence of Dexter, the compatibility-calculating robot, and the inclusion of non-heteros, there's little to differentiate this from Ten's first dating show, Perfect Match. The simplicity of the format allows host Julia Morris to relax and shine, and the contestants to show more of their personality than can be gleaned from a Tinder swipe. This episode includes a fashion blogger, a clown and a school principal. The result of last week's lesbian match is teased out until the end.

BIG BASH LEAGUE

From Wednesday 6.45pm, Fox Cricket

Plenty of people have been grumbling about the Big Bash being "behind a paywall". But although all games are being broadcast here, most are also on Seven – just like the AFL. More importantly, Fox does a great job with its sports broadcasts and we can expect that quality when Brisbane Heat takes on Adelaide Strikers at the Gabba. Jess Yates, Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds and Michael Vaughan will provide the commentary – and watch out for Shane Warne behind the mic later in the week.
