Despite salacious rumours of a bitter royal feud between Meghan and Kate, it seems the Duchesses will spend Christmas Day together.

The Daily Mail reports Harry and Meghan will join William and Kate in festivities with the Queen at Sandringham House, where the Queen is hosting Christmas.

The royals uniting for Christmas celebrations may put an end to the rumours of bitterness between the Meghan and Kate, which have caused much debate of late.

The announcement comes after reports of tension between Meghan and Kate, which lead to reports of the two brothers having a falling out. Kensington Palace even denied the allegations of the royals feuding in a rare statement.

Despite spending Christmas together, The Sun reports Meghan and Harry turned down Will and Kate’s invitation to stay at their Norfolk home in Anmer Hall. Apparently, Meghan and Harry spent last Christmas there prior to the pair tying the knot, enjoying the company of Will and Kate’s children.

A royal source told The Sun this was surprising as there is “not a huge amount of room at Sandringham”.

“Maybe they just want their own space,”, the source said. “Things are civil between the couples but they don’t spend much time together.”

Prior to this announcement, it was suspected the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would spend Christmas with the Middletons at Bucklebury Manor in Berkshire.

Sandringham House is located in Norfolk, England and the Daily Mail reported the royal family usually follows a German tradition where presents are opened on Christmas Eve, not Christmas Day. Apparently, while the women will have a light, healthy Christmas breakfast of sliced fruit, the men will enjoy a “hearty English breakfast”.
