Alyssa Healy bats during the World T20 semi final

It's been just over two weeks since Australia started its World T20 campaign with a fierce determination to come home with the silverware.

Alyssa Healy has been devastating form with the bat and it was only the match she didn’t make her way to the crease because of a concussion that was the only hurdle for the Aussies so far in the Caribbean.

The talk leading in has been about adopting a fearless style of play and it was never more evident that in their semi-final against host nation West Indies.

On a slow deck, Australia’s batters made the necessary adjustments without letting panic set in and then went to work with the ball, absolutely tearing through the West Indies batting order to comfortably book their place in the final.

They face fierce rivals England, the current world champions who will be desperate for more bragging rights over the number one cricket nation in the world.

Australia hold the Ashes, which they retained late last year, but England took out the T20 victory 2-1 during that series. But in a tri-series in India earlier this year, Australia were dominant and dropped just the one match the whole time they were on the subcontinent – to England.

It was be a battle mentally and physically between the two and we’ll have all the action right here.
