Everyone experiences their demons differently. For some it’s called the black dog, or a dark cloud, or anxiety. For Rowena Hutson, her demons take the form of a cat called Pat.

A blend of cabaret, storytelling, comedy and lists, Broke is an exposing and sincere show about Hutson’s battle with her brain, told through a feminist lens.

One moment, she's showing you what it’s like to have a panic attack in the silliest way imaginable, beige bodysuit and brainy headpiece included. The next moment, she vulnerably shares her own stories of trauma.
