Beauty brand Sephora opened a new store in Westfield Doncaster on Thursday, throwing a launch event that included a live DJ and beauty influencers.
Beauty giveaways were featured, as well as complimentary makeovers, and samples were handed out to the more than 700 consumers who lined up ahead of the store’s opening.
“We are so excited to present luxuries brands such as Marc Jacobs Beauty, Givenchy, and Tom Ford Fragrance, alongside our continued venture into the niche beauty market,” Sephora’s country manager, Libby Amelia, said.
“We have our key flagship locations like Sydney’s Pitt St Mall and Melbourne’s Melbourne Central, so the strategy is now to bring the best in global beauty a little closer to people’s homes.
“And that is just what this new Doncaster location is all about.”
Partnership with David Jones
Recently, Sephora announced a strategic partnership with department store David Jones which will see the beauty brand bring exclusive products, as well as open a concept location, within David Jones’ Bourke Street flagship in Melbourne.
The Bourke Street concept store will stock Sephora’s own-brand collection, alongside a carefully curated list of exclusive brands, and will introduce some new ideas to the Australian market, said Amelia.
